Me and My grand-daughter are making jewelry and memories while learning to run a business.

A few months ago, my grand-daughter came home from school and said, "Nana, I have to make something for a project in school about Ecuador. Can we make jewelry, I know you like that."

I agreed and we got started. Soon we had a variety of colorful Ecuadorian inspired jewelry and she realized she really liked making jewelry too. Then I suggested we sell all that we had made.  She said, "Wait!  You mean for real money?"  Her school project was just selling for school dollars as a learning experience. I assured her that I was talking about 'real money'  and our store was born.

As an entrepreneurial spirit myself, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to spend quality time with my young granddaughter (she is only 10 years old) making special memories and BONUS getting to use that time to teach her the basics of running a business!

She is learning responsibility, perseverance, creativity and business but most of all we are having FUN! I sincerely hope you enjoy our jewelry as much as we enjoy making it! In the end these lessons in business and life will help mold her education and future for YEARS to come! Thank you!!!
